What We Hope For
Ever since our girls were little, we talked of taking a break to adventure together while they were young enough to enjoy being away from it all, yet old enough to really explore and remember it. After years of planning, that dream is finally real. With Kennedy starting 7th grade and Mackenzie entering 5th, we are officially setting off on our big journey. We want to pause the busy corporate world and the nonstop rush of school and activities and take on a slower pace of life with LOTS of outdoor time. We want more quality time as a family and the time to focus on each other. We couldn’t fathom leaving our three pups behind, so we’ve chosen a truck and camper and sticking to North America with our furry friends by our side.
The Plan
We are trying to remain flexible to see where this takes us...that said, since everyone likes to camp in the summer we had to prebook through August! This is our tentative layout, but after San Diego we are going to reassess if we head East or if we post up in the Rockies somewhere to ski for a few months then return to our Eastern US road trip or head to Europe!
